ORIGINAL REVIEW: The installers—Noah, Matt, & Pierce— were terrific. Skilled, courteous, and exceedingly clean. Five stars for them. The initial contacts with the company were the problem. The salesperson Brandon was over-the-top pushy and high-pressure. It wasn’t until a week after his sales pitch that another employee mentioned in passing that I could visit a showroom and see samples. The process could have gone more smoothly had I been shown actual products or samples at the outset.

Calco was awesome!!!! The guys, were Mickey and Josh were amazing!!! The were friendly and polite and professional.

Jake and Jared remodeled our bathroom, which hasn’t been done for over 58 years. The quality of their craftsmanship and attention to detail was outstanding. The materials that were used were beyond our expectations. Everything was done first class. Micky and Josh did a phenomenal job on our shower remodel. They arrived on time, took extraordinary care in everything they did and were excellent communicators. Calco remodeled two bathrooms for us. One was a significant change that included moving a wall to double the bathroom size.
Wendel and Mike did the work. They were very professional and conscientious. The work was done on time and within budget. The fellows took special care to protect the rest of the house from construction traffic and debris.

Josh and Mickey were excellent and very helpful. They walked us thru each step of the project asked for our opinion for placement of grab bars and shelving. They were very courteous and respectful of our home. Their work was excellent even when the project became more difficult then expected. We would gladly welcome them back.

Mickey and Josh were fantastic! They got my shower installed within 3 days and I was very impressed with their professionalism all the way through. They kept me updated and reconfirmed my preferences during each phase of the project with special attention to each and every detail. We highly recommend Calco for your bathroom renovations. They are a very professional, easy company to work with providing excellent workmanship. From our first meeting with Matt and Neill in formulating a plan for our 1967 bathrooms, to being updated by Rob (yay RVA!) to having Ed and Pierce doing the awesome work, we couldn’t be happier.
We were so impressed with Ed and Pierce. They prepared our home with ram board and plastic enclosures to keep damage and dust to a minimum. They were very respectful of our possessions inside and outside and cleaned up at the end of each day. Through this intense work, they were very pleasant and make a great team. Their outstanding skills in their craft is excellent! Every stage was done meticulously. Our family bath and half bath are now beautiful. In addition, they drove 3+ hours round trip each day! It was a pleasure having Ed and Pierce working in our home. Thank you guys!!!

Amazing job! Josh and Mickey replaced an ugly acrylic eyesore of a shower with a beautiful non-acrylic shower. These two work together like a well-oiled machine and did a fabulous job of updating my shower. It was quite obvious that the most important part of their job was to make sure I was happy with the result. They always came through for me. I love the new shower! I would recommend Calco to anyone looking to do updates like this.

The installation of the tube was executed efficiently and promptly by the team.

CalCo recently completed our complete kitchen and family room remodel. Everything got taken out, down to the bare walls. From the first day Matt, Josh, and Wendell came into our house, they were polite, kept a clean workspace, they were always mindful about our pets when going in and out of the house to make sure there were no escapes, and constantly communicated with us to make sure we knew what the daily plan was and if there were any issues that needed to be addressed.

The only thing left for our project is some minor touch ups and CalCo has not dropped the ball on that. They have been in regular communication with me to schedule the completion of those final touches. I've had the unfortunate experience of previous contractors never coming back to complete those finishing touch ups, but these guys see the project through to the end.

Switched Laundry Room to Full bath and powder room to a laundry room because my wife can no longer walk upstairs to take a shower.

ED and Pierce worked extremely hard to complete our project. They were very professional and polite. They went out of their way to make the project as successful as possible. I can't say enough about how great they were. Calco is lucky to have them!

Jerod and Mike did a phenominal job on my long overdue bathroom renovation. There was extended damage to the flooring beneath the bath tub and parts of the kitchen. I know how long and hard Jerod and Mike worked to make sure the flooring for the new bathroom was safe and secure. They were then able to remake my over 20 year old bathroom. New bath and shower, vanity, lighing, new insulated walls, and floors.
I have to say that Jerod and Mike have been gifted by God. My bathroom is bright and beautiful and a joy to use it.

I cannot say enough about our tub install team Mickey and Josh. They went above and beyond their duty. Beyond excited!!!

Had Calco replace a porcelain over cast iron tub with a step in shower. Just used my shower for the first time and I could hardly believe I was in my own bathroom. Caleb and Noah were great. They kept me informed every step of the way. There were 2 small wrinkles but they were resolved. I almost can't wait to save up to get my kitchen done. I will definitely be calling CalCo.

CalCo was awesome to deal with from start to finish. Their attention to detail was far and above better than most competitors. I appreciated how Mickey and Josh kept me abreast of everything during the length of the project. I would definitely recommend CalCo to my family and friends.

This in total took them a little over a week. They were excellent with details. Any issues that we ran into were resolved 100% quickly and they do take pride in quality. What I absolutely loved about this was the project was done. Start to finish. They did the plumbing and electrical changes in the Existing outlets. The flooring. The painting. They took care of everything. The only thing I had to Pick up on my own were lights and the mirror. You can pick from a number of different patterns for your cabinets and walls in the shower. I love the hardware in the shower and the sink. Mickey and Josh were great. They had no problem with me checking in and asking questions and asking for things to be done the way I wanted it. (Like the height on the shelves and shower curtain rod). I’m a satisfied customer.
I asked around to different companies and individuals And I was told that the price was right.

Calco completed our kitchen renovation which included new cabinets, countertops, backsplash, and the installation of new appliances. Our overall experience was very positive. The quality of work and attention to detail that Jerod and Mike provided while on site was superior. They were incredibly friendly and respectful of our home. It truly was a pleasure having them around during our four week project. Jerod did a fantastic job communicating with us throughout the duration of the project to ensure we were on the same page and our expectations were being met. Ed and Pierce came to remodel our bathroom, the installed a new shower, vanity, flooring, towel bars, toilet paper holder and painted. They did a very good job and would highly recomend.

Darryl & Bryce from CalCo have been here every day this week putting in a new bathroom for us. They were here first thing every morning. Loved their communication. They kept us in the loop on their progress & pulled us in if there were any questions.
We joked with them about being "the Dream Team", but it's seriously no joke...they ARE the Dream Team. Their attention to detail was impressive. We have a 100-year-old house so it comes with its challenges & they used their craftsmanship to crush every hurdle. For example, they created a section of molding to match the existing crown molding because, they simply don't make ours anymore. It's a perfect match.
I cannot wait for the next home project, because we know we'll be calling the Dream Team.

We had a great experience with Calco Design LLC for our tub to walk-in shower conversion. Josh and Mickey were very responsive to our inputs and made sure we were happy with the end result. It took us years to commit to making this change and we are so happy we did, and that we went with Calco Design.

We just had extensive renovations to both our upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. Ed and Pierce did an outstanding job. Ed went above and beyond to make a difficult design challenge work in the downstairs bathroom and all three gentlemen (including Neal) battled heat and tight spaces to make our dream of a walk-in, doorless, rain shower work in our upstairs bathroom. They were polite, respectful of our property, and very willing to answer any questions and concerns that we had. We couldn't be happier with their work.

We recently had to renovate our shower due to an emergency and Calco helped to make the process as easy and streamlined as possible. When we sat down to plan our new shower, everything was listed in front of us to pick from pretty quickly. They were knowledgeable about the materials and helped with recommendations. When it came time for the renovation, Mickey and Josh were great at ensuring quality work was performed. We desired to convert our tile walk in shower to a shower / tub combination. Brandon visited our home to assess the project and presented us with multiple options to best fit our needs. He was timely, professional, and personable. CalCo offered the highest quality materials of the comparable competition, and gave us a level of comfort moving forward with this extensive project. Mickey and Josh who did the project, were very communicative, on time, included me on all decisions or even minimal changes/adjustments that needed to be made. For all the dust and disruption that is unavoidable, they kept everything very clean. Cannot say enough good things about them. I would highly recommend Calco and plan to use them again in the future. Even my dogs loved them!
